Participants will learn how to connect, clean, model, analyze, and visualize project information from common sources such as Excel, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and organizational reporting systems. Through guided exercises and real-world project management scenarios, participants will build interactive dashboards that support project status reporting, schedule and budget tracking, earned value management, resource utilization analysis, portfolio management, and executive decision-making. The course emphasizes practical application and industry best practices, enabling participants to create reports and dashboards that improve transparency, accountability, and project performance across their organizations.

Participants should have basic familiarity with project management concepts, including project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and status reporting. Prior experience with Microsoft Excel is recommended. Completion of a Power BI Fundamentals course or equivalent experience with Power BI Desktop is strongly encouraged.
Participants should bring a laptop with Power BI Desktop installed and have permission to install updates or access organizational project data if applicable.
